Fabián Álvarez began his musical journey at age 9 at the Guillermo Tomás Conservatory in Guanabacoa, Cuba, and later graduated with honors from the Amadeo Roldán Conservatory in 1998. A full scholarship took him to the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico in 1999. After relocating to Miami in 2002, Fabián earned his Bachelor's in Flute Performance from the New World School of the Arts and a Master’s Degree from Lynn University Conservatory of Music.

Fabián has performed with prestigious orchestras, including the Orlando Philharmonic and Miami Symphony, and served as Principal Flute for The Miami City Ballet Orchestra. His solo performances, such as with the Estado de Mexico Symphony Orchestra, further highlight his distinction. He has studied with renowned artists, participating in prestigious festivals like the Orford Music Festival in Canada and the William Bennett Festival in London.

Since 2019, Fabián has been the lead singer, flute player, and band manager for Machaka Band, where he continues to innovate and lead with his extensive musical expertise. In addition to his performance career, Fabián is the owner and director of Rum & Coffee Productions, providing comprehensive entertainment event services in Miami. A master of melody and rhythm!
